How YardNex uses cookies

This Cookie Policy explains how YardNex uses cookies, local storage, cached files, and similar browser technologies across the website, dashboard, and installed app experience.

Essential cookies keep sign-in, security, and app state working
Optional analytics are used only after consent
Users can choose essential-only use and manage browser storage
Section 1

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser when you visit a website. YardNex may also use related browser storage, such as local storage, to remember app preferences, PWA state, AI chat preferences, notification read state, and cookie choices.

Some cookies and storage are required for the platform to work. Others help YardNex understand usage patterns and improve the product, but those optional uses are only enabled when you allow optional cookies.

Section 2

Essential cookies and storage

Essential cookies and storage are required for core YardNex features. These may include sign-in sessions, authentication recovery, security checks, request continuity, dashboard access, remembering whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, and keeping the installed app or PWA shell working correctly.

YardNex may also use essential browser storage to preserve local interface state, search preferences, AI-related local state, notification read state, and other settings needed to keep the product stable on the same device.

If you block all cookies or browser storage at the browser or device level, some YardNex features may not work correctly. Sign-in, dashboard access, saved sessions, installed app behavior, and other device-specific settings may fail or reset unexpectedly.

Section 3

Optional analytics and performance cookies

Optional analytics help YardNex understand which public business pages are visited, which engagement actions are used, what features are helpful, and how the product can be improved. These optional events may include profile views, button clicks, device or browser context, and related usage metadata.

YardNex does not enable optional client-side analytics unless you choose to allow optional cookies. If you choose essential-only use, those optional browser-side analytics calls are skipped.

Some operational or security-related records may still exist at the server level even when optional cookies are declined, because a website still has to process requests, maintain security, and respond to technical issues. Declining optional cookies mainly affects non-essential client-side analytics and similar tracking behavior.

Section 4

PWA, notifications, and AI preferences

Because YardNex can be installed as a PWA, the app may use browser cache, service worker storage, and local storage to make repeat visits faster, keep the interface stable, remember notification read state, and preserve AI chat or dashboard preferences on the same device.

Push notification permissions are controlled by your browser or device. YardNex only enables push notifications after you sign in and intentionally enable them. You can revoke push permissions from your browser or device settings at any time.

If you clear browser data or remove the installed app, locally saved preferences, cached content, and similar device-level settings may be lost from that device.

Section 5

Your choices

When the cookie banner appears, you can choose “Allow optional cookies” or “Essential only.” If you choose essential-only use, YardNex will keep required platform cookies and storage but will not run optional client-side analytics.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Clearing YardNex site data may reset your cookie choice, sign you out, clear local PWA data, and remove local preferences or history stored only on that device.

If you use multiple browsers or devices, you may need to manage cookie choices separately in each environment.

Section 6

Third-party services and embedded behavior

Some YardNex features may involve third-party providers that help support hosting, authentication, notifications, payments, analytics, media delivery, or external links. Those services may use their own cookies or browser technologies when their tools are involved.

YardNex does not control every third-party cookie or browser storage mechanism that may be triggered by external services, browser features, or links leaving the YardNex site. Users should also review the privacy and cookie terms of relevant third parties where appropriate.

Section 7

Updates to this policy

YardNex may update this Cookie Policy when new platform features, analytics behavior, notification tools, or storage practices are added. The latest version will be available on this page.

If a future update materially changes optional cookie usage, YardNex may show the cookie banner again so users can make a fresh choice.
