What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser when you visit a website. YardNex may also use related browser storage, such as local storage, to remember app preferences, PWA state, AI chat preferences, notification read state, and cookie choices.
Some cookies and storage are required for the platform to work. Others help YardNex understand usage patterns and improve the product, but those optional uses are only enabled when you allow optional cookies.
Essential cookies and storage
Essential cookies are required for core YardNex features. These include sign-in sessions, authentication refresh tokens, security checks, checkout flow continuity, PWA behavior, and remembering whether you accepted or declined optional cookies.
If you block all browser storage or cookies at the browser level, some YardNex features may not work correctly. For example, sign-in, dashboard access, saved sessions, and PWA behavior may fail or reset unexpectedly.
Optional analytics and performance cookies
Optional analytics help YardNex understand which public business pages are visited, which engagement actions are used, and how the platform can be improved. These events may include business profile views, engagement actions, device/browser context, and related usage metadata.
YardNex does not enable optional analytics through the client-side analytics helper unless you choose to allow optional cookies. If you choose essential-only use, those optional analytics calls are skipped from the browser.
PWA, notifications, and AI preferences
Because YardNex can be installed as a PWA, the app may use browser cache and local storage to make repeat visits faster, keep the interface stable, remember notification read state, and preserve AI chat or dashboard preferences on the same device.
Push notification permissions are controlled by your browser or device. YardNex only enables push notifications after you sign in and intentionally enable them. You can revoke push permissions from your browser or device settings.
Your choices
When the cookie banner appears, you can choose “Allow optional cookies” or “Essential only.” If you choose essential-only use, YardNex will keep required platform cookies and storage but will not run optional client-side analytics.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Clearing YardNex site data may reset your cookie choice, sign you out, clear local PWA data, and remove local AI chat history or preferences stored on that device.
Updates to this policy
YardNex may update this Cookie Policy when new platform features, analytics behavior, notification tools, or storage practices are added. The latest version will be available on this page.
If a future update materially changes optional cookie usage, YardNex may show the cookie banner again so users can make a fresh choice.
